What is the first step in becoming an internet model? Are there agencies? - wolfe
Well it's a very funny story...
I had been modeling for awhile and then out of the blue decided to jump on the youtube trend of the moment and posted video blogs, a talk show that a friend and I did together and also non-nude sexy dance tease videos which caught the eye of a guy that wanted to start up a business of web model sites. I signed on with him and honestly it didn't go very well at all so to keep my site alive I was forced to learn the trade myself. I would suggest for girls to do it this way if they have the brains:) Self promotion is hard work but it's worth it in the long run to own all of your own content and control how your image is being presented.
With that said, there are webmasters that girls can get in contact with and start up that way but from my own experiences and from talking to other models, this seems to rarely turn out well in the end.
What do you look for in a photographer that tells you the shoot will go well? - wolfe
I have actually not shot with a ton of unfamiliar photographers but the ones that I trust going in the shoot are ones I feel comfortable being honest with on my goals for the day. Basically if their prior work is solid and they are good with communication I usually do well with them!
Is it easier to shoot by yourself or pose with other girls? - wolfe
I prefer to do actual photo shoots alone and any of the movies I have made with other girls I have shot myself so I am obviously comfortable with myself! :)
